August 22, Superbook Malaysia first visited Kuching, Sarawak on an invitation from the National Economic Empowerment Conference (NEEC) held at Good News Fellowship Church, Green Height and St. Faith’s Church, Kuching for the Diocesan Children Ministry Conference. Both of these invitations provide an opportunity for Superbook Malaysia to introduce the Superbook and Superbook Academy, a sunday school curriculum based on the Superbook animation to the conference participants. Superbook Malaysia has opened an exhibition booth in NEEC which lasted for 4 days, starting on August 22 until August 25. The 2-day Diocesan Children Ministry Conference, starting on August 25 until August 26. The acceptance at the NEEC and the Diocesan Children Ministry Conference was terrific, almost all participants participating in the conference came from all over Sarawak and with some from Sabah, Peninsular and Brunei.
The second day of the NEEC, August 23, Superbook Malaysia was given the opportunity to present a presentation on the Superbook and Superbook Academy; presented enthusiastically and dynamically by Mark McClendon, Regional Director, CBN SEAsia / South Korea. Presenting awareness that parents and churches are in the “Virtual War”; dilemma to discipling current generations of children in times of technology and information that is difficult to control access from children. This presentation calls for parents and churches to rise and see the importance of discipleship among new generation of high literacy in the media.
